Dissertation: A geochemical modeling study of the effects of urea-degrading bacteria on groundwater contaminated with acid mine drainage.
Tracy studied dissolved organic carbon functional fractionation, while working as an instructor as MSU in geology and civil engineering.
Tracy studied sequestration of trace metals in aquatic environments by dissolved organic carbon fractions; however, due to a divorce in 2015, Tracy was unable to afford to complete her dissertation, although her research and coursework were complete. She returned to work full-time as a consultant, in order to support her family.
Tracy has prepared and submitted journal articles and dissertations during her fourteen years as a researcher and student in the fields of geochemistry and environmental engineering. Recently, she has worked as a freelance proofreader and editor of journal article submissions by authors for whom English is not a first language.
Tracy has prepared numerous reports and data deliverables in her 12+ years as a multi-disciplinary scientific consultant. The majority of these reports were submitted to government regulatory agencies on behalf of her clients, including the US Environmental Protection Agency and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.
Tracy has prepared dissertations, journal articles, grant applications and academic reports in her fourteen years as a student and five years as an instructor and adjunct lecturer.

Tracy has over twenty years of experience as a multi-disciplinary scientist in academia and industry. In these positions, a great deal of her time was spent writing and editing scientific and technical documents for peers, clients, the general public and various government agencies. Many of these documents have included annual monitoring and compliance reports for clients and government agencies.
