After Jen's husband had a stroke in 2015, it became evident that continuing her career path was unfortunately impossible. With all hopes of getting back to school to get her BA in Social Work, she's merely four credit hours away and passing credentials to be a licensed independent social worker (LISW). Having a base in human services has helped tremendously. Studying her family's mental illness roots inspired her to keep learning.
Becoming adept in market research wasn't an attribute Jen ever thought she'd see herself in, but debuting as a call center supervisor for phone surveyors became second-nature. She built her team's spirit and grew production by over 45% and quality increased almost by 92%! Within four months, she was promoted to Project Manager for the Operations division.
Conquering motherhood, Jen raises her four children with her husband in the midwest. Unlike other moms, Jen struggles with some unusual situations and her extensive knowledge mostly stems from personal experience. Her children's ages range from 18 down to 6-years-old making for quite the daily adventure!
Jen has kept communication in writing for the most part since technology has taken center stage. Keeping communication with clients and co-workers open and articulate makes for some excellent email copy.
Jen occasionally writes product descriptions for local jeweler's websites and print ads. This particular post was written for an amethyst and diamond ring with a value of $1999. Jen's work was accepted and paid quickly, and she continues to write product descriptions in her spare time.
