Ashlyn graduated from Virginia Tech in 2016 with cum laude honors. Her public relations degree provided her the knowledge and experience to pursue various internships, and ultimately begin her career as a young professional in the marketing industry.
During her time at Virginia Tech, Ashlyn held various leadership positions, include public relations chair for her sorority, Sigma Kappa, President of the Society of Professional Journalists and member of PRSSA.

She understands the appropriate tone and angle to take when writing for the industry to deliver content in line with the client's needs. She successfully writes content for SEO, and can tastefully incorporate keywords into content pieces
Ashlyn creates press releases in a timely manner. She has experience writing press releases about company accomplishments, sponsorships and more. With her degree in public relations, Ashlyn understands how to structure a press release to incorporate the most relevant information to effectively tell the intended story.
Ashlyn has experience writing web pages based on client needs. She can identify and organize content in a way that is easy to understand for the intended audience. One project Ashlyn worked on was adding content to service pages for a dental office. She focused on adding FAQs and additional information about what individuals could expect during certain procedures.
