Shaylene's writing specialty areas are: legal, fashion, diet and nutrition, and child psychology. She excels at academic research and writing as well as technical communication.
Shaylene's interests are: law, fashion, nutrition,arts and crafts, and children and family.
Shaylene attended a technical high school where she studied four years of Fashion Design and Technology in addition to her regular high school curriculum. During this time, she obtained skills such as: fashion design, sewing, pattern drafting, fashion history, and garment construction. She graduated with high honors.
Shaylene attended Brio Academy where she obtained her professional license in Cosmetology. She learned skills such as: hair cutting, styling, and coloring, as well as nail care, makeup application and esthetics.
Shaylene attended Post University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with her B.S. in legal studies (also known as pre-law) with a minor in psychology.
Shaylene has thus far written two paid works for other content sites. She has an in-depth understanding of fashion design, garment construction, pattern drafting and sewing due to her education from W.F. Kaynor Technical High School, where she studied Fashion Design and Technology for four years.
Shaylene has written two non-fiction narratives that have been published in the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series.
