Lynne Marie wrote and produced health education brochures and web content for a non-profit in Washington DC. After moving to the San Francisco Bay Area she took a job writing and managing grants and contracts for a non-profit. Her favorite part of of both of these jobs was learning about the needs of the people she was serving through these projects. To produce high quality writing, she believes writers must feel fully invested in the outcomes for her clients. She believes in asking questions and creating a dialogue with clients to ensure a clear understanding of their needs and expectations.

She has spent the last 6 years writing materials for her children's school in various capacities. For their newsletter she has produced essays, interviews, and articles. She also served as a Communications Chair for the school's PTA Executive Board. In this capacity she oversaw the communications structures. She wrote and instituted user guidelines for community forums. She created and delivered presentations for parents explaining the school's communication model.

Lynne Marie attended The George Washington University on an athletic scholarship. She was on the Athletic Academic Dean’s List, 1999-01. She was an Academic All American Scholarship Athlete at GWU, 1997-01. She was also awarded the Most Valuable Player on GWU Diving team, 1998, 2001 and currently still holds a record on the boards there.

She loved living in the nation's capital and spent countless hours criss-crossing the city by foot and by metro, soaking in the history and the political climate.
