Shayn N. has spent the past five years as an independent freelancer for a small base of repeat clients, primarily writing and editing. Most recently, she was the creative director for AG Media, where she participated in weekly, team-based, content strategy brainstorming sessions, selected applicants for hire, and trained them. To her team of four writers, she provided line edits, rewrites, schedules, and filing for all the projects. She spearheaded communication between the owner, the writers, and the other staff editors. She also wrote 20,000 words per week for AG Media herself!

Prior to 2017, Shayn gained experience in SEO, and rewrote technical articles. Clients in both areas praised her ability to craft natural, accessible sentences. Her material has featured in the Amazon Top 100 (e-books) and driven traffic bonuses for major clients (articles).

In spite of how hard she works, she's got a sense of humor! Shayn wrote for Cracked magazine during her college career, and performed with the comedy troupe The Howler Monkeys. In her free time, she maintains her own blog, Writing Is For Everyone, and spends time with her partner, two children, and cat.
