Janet received her AA in 2007 in General Studies but concentrated her classes on criminal justice classes. Janet graduated Magna Cum Laude and from the Commonwealth Honors Program. In addition she graduated Phi Theta Kappa.
Janet received her BA in Psychology with a focus on counseling. She also minored in Women's Studies.
Janet has been working freelancing since March of 2017 and in that time she has had a steady gig writing for a transgender blog. She has written 15 posts for that blog. She has also written articles and blog posts for other LGBTQ sites. Her first writing gig was an article for a magazine that focused on the LGBT community.
Janet has been an outspoken political junkie since she was 16 years old and she worked on her first political campaign. Since she started doing freelance work, she has written twelve articles on politics. These articles have ranged from leaks in the Trump administration to how people view terrorist acts committed by white Christians compared to terrorist acts committed by Muslims.
When Janet received her BA for psychology her minor was Women's Studies. The majority of her ten years working in human services the majority of it was working in women's programs. She has written five article on women's rights and has some issues that she would love to write on, such as sex trafficking and FGM.
Janet started her writing career with an article in a magazine in CT. It was a new magazine at the time and it's focus was the LGBTQ community. Since she began her freelance career in March of this year she has written 20+ articles ranging from entertainment to politics. The topics she is most passionate about are: politics, LGBTQ issues, and women's issues.
