Since starting out as a freelance writer in 2008, Andrea has honed my writing and editing skills working her way up at the Tribune Company-owned Zap2it.com. She left a full time position there in December 2016 to return to freelancing; the site has since shut down.

Since going back to freelancing, she has been writing for Rotten Tomatoes, The A.V. Club, Refinery29, Mashable and Us Weekly.

Her primary area of expertise is television. She has been covering it for her entire career and is a member of the Television Critics Association. But she also has experience writing about celebrities, movies and sports. Her educational background is in law.
