Holly studied all aspects of Medical Records management, Anatomy, Physiology and Pathophysiology, including extensive lab work and dissections. The Lehigh Carbon program included database structure and management, ICD-9, CPT and HCPCS Level 3 coding. She graduated as a Phi Theta Kappa member, and Cum Laude.
Holly K., CTR has been involved in various aspects of planning, writing and producing a variety of Cancer Program Annual Reports, Oncology marketing brochures, patient information packets, educational materials, etc for the Oncology departments and American College of Surgeons Approved Cancer Programs she has worked for over the last twenty years. She has also produced articles relating to Cancer Registry management that have been published in a variety of industry periodicals and on websites.
Holly K has either been primarily responsible or part of a team responsible for the writing, editing and printing of numerous Oncology Program Annual Reports at hospitals varying in size from small Community to University Teaching Hospitals and Networks. She was also responsible for data production and presentation for these Annual Reports, including attractive graphs with appropriate explanations. Finding ways to present Cancer Data so it is clearly understood by both physicians and the Lay public is her specialty.
