Tory is a master's candidate at the Johns Hopkins University, working toward a Master of Science in Biotechnology. She received a bachelor's degree from Baylor University, where she studied both life sciences and humanities. She discovered her love for exploring big questions--what made us who we are? Why do we do what we do? How can we use our knowledge to help alleviate suffering? Tory continues to strive to be a Renaissance learner, and to use her writing and editing skills to help spread this hard-won knowledge among professionals and the public. Tory authored a thesis on medical ethics in women's health, theology, and terrorism, and frequently analyzes and critiques various biomedical research articles. Finally, Tory has written about and presented on her own research findings in neuroscience.
