Bob is a world traveler, former educator, and independent blogger. As both a teacher and a program coordinator, he taught writing and edited the writing of his students and employees. In addition to blog posts, Bob has experience crafting marketing emails, website copy, newsletters, and student reports (descriptive, expository pieces). He loves to understand topics and to break things down logically. No matter the project, Bob applies his keen eye for grammar and pays close attention to flow, making sure that each piece is expressive, not just informative.

Bob earned a bachelor's degree in English at the University of New Hampshire, after which he completed a tour as an AmeriCorps*VISTA volunteer in Providence, Rhode Island. In this role (and subsequently as head of two youth-driven publications), he taught writing and page layout classes to at-risk youth in the city. He followed this stint with sixteen months of backpacking in Latin America and Italy. He learned Spanish during this trip and has taught the language to children ages four to fourteen.

Bob has a wide range of interests, and continues to take classes, earn certifications, and expand his skills and understanding about nutrition, food preparation, fitness, financial independence, construction, and writing. He writes about these topics (and more) on his blog.
