Although she would write about anything from quantum physics to cats (within reason), Adrienne develops content in five main areas: marketing & advertising, healthcare & pharma, health & fitness, tech, and higher education.
Adrienne's ultimate goals are to establish a consultancy and to write a book. In the interim, she can be found procrastinating over said book, reading someone else's, hoarding music, watching a documentary, or exploring one of Boston's hidden charms.
During her time as an undergraduate, Adrienne explored fashion, music, and multimedia journalism primarily. Her program covered all facets of modern journalism and culminated in a Final Major (Capstone) Project. Courses included styling and photography, publishing, print and online feature writing, freelancing and business development, magazine design, and humanities.
Adrienne's main client in this sector is Sokolove Law, a personal injury law firm specializing in cases involving healthcare institutions, medical drug/device companies, and product liability. Adrienne writes content for Sokolove Law's corporate blog on a wide range of topics: medical malpractice, medical research, disabilities, politics, pharmaceuticals, workplace safety, and education, to name a few. She has also written for Simmons Hanly Conroy LLC and Cantria.
During her time in content marketing for higher education, Adrienne has written for both graduate and undergraduate audiences. As an Audience Engagement Specialist at Brandeis International Business School, she developed and managed content initiatives to attract a new market of prospective grad students. Her role entailed maintaining an ed cal, writing and editing long- and short-form pieces, and strategy planning. Since October 2015, Adrienne has also been writing for HigherEducation.com. Most assignments involve creating school profiles for online and undergrad degree rankings, requiring substantial research, writing, editing, and fact-checking.
Adrienne is currently a Content Marketing Specialist for Lionbridge, a global translation and localization services company. She supports both vertical and horizontal campaigns, delivering targeted content to a broad range of audiences. Deliverables include blog posts, infographic copy, landing page copy, webinar scripts, event materials, solution briefs, and repurposing plans, as well as editing and proofreading. Most assignments require breaking down highly technical information into more compelling and digestible content.
Blog posts are Adrienne's bread and butter. She has written blog content to help build Boston-based brands such as Sokolove Law, inSegment Inc., Brandeis International Business School, Nature's Batch, and Lavish Living Clothing, as well as national brands such as HigherEducation.com and Simmons Hanly Conroy.
In the higher education and marketing industries, Adrienne has written email and landing page copy primarily for asset promotion, newsletters, and event registration.
During her time at inSegment, a full-service digital marketing agency, Adrienne managed public relations initiatives as well as the blog. These included media placement and outreach, writing press releases, and editing ghostwritten pieces.
