Chris pursued a four-year BFA in Architecture at the University of Memphis. In this program he was exposed to a well-rounded teaching in design studios, professional collaborations, and real-world applications, built upon a foundation of aesthetics, composition, and functionality.
Chris worked with a software company for three years. In that time he rewrote both web copy and training materials for customer support. After redesigning the website to offer a user friendly and intuitive experience, he was also responsible for all promotional marketing and advertisement design.
Chris created his own travel and photography blog in the beginning of 2013. Since then, he's released regular posts on various topics of culture, art, and adventure-seeking. This is one of his greatest passion projects and frequently writes articles of 500-1000 words.
Chris began working on political articles during the 2016 Presidential Primary Season for the US Government. As a passion project, he wrote his first articles from a non-partisan, objective perspective.
Chris has over three years of experience in writing email copy. Whether auto-responders or one-time promotional announcements, Chris is familiar with a wide range of email copy writing. Working in the customer service field and frequently communicating with customers has allowed him to cultivate a natural and concise writing voice to inform, promote, and instruct.
