David has worked on eight book campaigns, three of which are New York Times best-sellers, including web writing, news and article writing, TV show scripts, and social media campaigns. My specialty is interpreting medical experts into writing that engages consumers, mass media and industry audiences. David is a specialist within the brain health arena, including neurology and psychiatry. However, he has also written for platinum best-selling Christian authors as well.
David is an influential writer in the sports concussion world, and has written about basketball, football, skiing and yacht racing, among others. Recently, David's writing has helped a concussion management software company obtain more than 30,000 subscribers.
David's Christian faith and involvement with Saddleback Church gave him the opportunity to work with two platinum best-selling authors. David has written curriculum to help faith-based organizations achieve spiritual and physical fitness. David also specializes in writing about men's spiritual issues, ranging from leadership to masturbation. He loves the Bible, and especially its author.
In an industry fraught with "spin doctors" with questionable ethics, David's integrity and background in journalism gives his news releases an authentic edge that appeals to editors and consumers. David's extensive experience includes announcing the largest accounting firm merger in history, the results for the largest international yacht race, news about the NFL concussion and pain-killer lawsuits, books that would become best-sellers, and the first amputee to play in a NCAA Division I football game -- which was nominated by ESPN for an ESPY Award for Most Inspirational Sports Story of the Year in 2004, and won a PROTOS Award by the Public Relations Society of America.
Since getting The Daniel Plan started, David has helped communicate on behalf of other authors and book-related campaigns, primarily in the health and wellness arena, and more specifically, anything to do with the brain. As a specialist writing for neurologists and psychiatrists, David has a knack for giving readers an easy-to-understand interpretation of medical expertise.
David's experience includes writing and producing three membership-based website businesses. David helped write and assemble all the content for all three platforms, which had best-selling authors behind them. One example helped an estimated 15,000 people lose 250,000 lbs within six months.
