One of Sheri's strengths as a writer is the ability to write about complex subject matter in a way that makes clear to the lay reader the issues at hand without "dumbing down" the discussion. Sheri's writing uses the art of storytelling and prose to seamlessly immerse the reader in the discussion without the reader having to parse out difficult language in order to be engaged by the issues. Sheri applies her writing style to any project she tackles, including legal writing, in which she has had the most experience as a writer.

Sheri has excellent writing and research skills and has handled a variety of legal matters. Her appellate briefs, and points and authorities submitted to a variety of jurisdictions have resulted in favorable decisions for her clients.

Before going to law school, Sheri worked at a nonprofit educational clearinghouse where she researched the database of educational studies at the request of academic personnel, and edited academic articles on education topics. Sheri also taught mathematics and algebra to junior high and middle school students for four years and has a Professional Teaching Credential in secondary mathematics.

While attending UCLA, Sheri was a peer counselor and teaching assistant. Through her role as a peer counselor, she wrote, edited and published a weekly newsletter highlighting topical academic rules, regulations and issues that addressed undergraduate concerns.

Throughout her experience as a writer, Sheri has had the opportunity to write on a number of legal and non legal subjects and remains open to accepting assignments on any subject for which the client believes she will be good match.
