Business: Before writing, Karen was an executive for a software company. While there she held jobs in I.T. support and more recently, sales. The software she worked with was specifically for the retail industry and Karen has a broad knowledge of retail applications including Merchandising, CRM, POS, Loss Prevention, Omni Channel and Business Analytics. While in sales, she prepared countless PowerPoint presentations which were funneled up to C-Level executives at top tiered retailers.

Technical Support: Karen spent 10 years heading up a Call Center which handled issues from hardware to software to network problems. As Director of the Call Center, she also has expertise in Human Resources, Statistical Analysis and inbound call center practices.

Self-Employment: Karen has had many businesses during the years. Early on, she sold herbal remedies. She moved onto selling collector coins. In time, she started a successful Legal Service business (Processing Serving). Her last business was focused on computer repair.

Personal Investing: Karen takes great joy in personal investing and loves being an active participant in creating retirement wealth.
