Dwayne has leveraged his skills in information design and his knowledge of publication processes to deliver user-friendly web products.
Working with software programmers, Dwayne led the redesign of the Information Technology site for Clemson University (ccit.clemson.edu). He started from the ground up with a custom WordPress theme that uses grid-based responsive CSS. The site's back-end was also customized to function as a secure multi-user content management system.
Before handing off the turn-key site to the departmental Communications team, Dwayne also wrote all of the initial content for the site's seven major sections. Two examples follow:
Dwayne worked for a company that sells computer-vision software to state transportation departments. He developed and maintained their website, produced promotional literature and designed and authored extensive online documentation for their products.
Dwayne has an extensive portfolio of documentation products he has researched, designed and written for numerous software and technology customers and audiences.
Dwayne has produced a variety of printed brochures, catalogs and pamphlets for various audiences. In addition to authoring the content for these pieces, he has managed their designs, illustrations and coordinated their printing.
Dwayne has written press releases for software products. He wrote the sample PR below for an open-source enterprise file system project.
