Robert W is a recent graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara's College of Creative Studies. He earned a degree in Literature with a dual emphasis in Creative Writing and Literary Criticism. He was the Editor-in-Chief of his college's poetry Journal, Into the Teeth of the Wind, and the Managing Editor of Spectrum Literary Journal. In both of these roles, he wrote copy for the journals' websites as well as ads to solicit submissions. He taught college courses in Literature at the College of Creative studies, and he currently teaches English Language Development at Richmond High School.

Robert W. graduated with a degree in Literature from the College of Creative Studies, an honors college within UCSB. He won the 2016 Most Excellent Writing Award for Poetry, earned second place for Nonfiction, and earned an honorable mention for Fiction; he was the only student that year to place in all three genres. As Editor-in-Chief of Into the Teeth of the Wind, College of Creative Studies's poetry journal, he created the first issue in the 15-year history of the magazine to sell out entirely.

Robert W taught two courses at the College of Creative Studies. The first, "The American Cult of the Individual," was an exploration of individualism in the mid-20th century American Novel. The second, "Lit Lab" was a survey of contemporary American literary journals. He currently teaches English Language Development at Richmond High School.
