Susan started writing when she was practicing law. The local newspaper asked her to write a column. She did this for several years. Then she went on to write for parenting magazines. Her articles and essays have been published in national and regional magazines.
After closing her law practice she worked for the bar association. Later, she was hired to run a living history museum, which she enjoyed because it involved grant writing and marketing, as well as cows, chickens, and costumes. Throughout all of that, she continued to write. Currently, she is retired and is a freelance blogger.
