Julia wrote an article for a small-town newspaper on a local plastic surgeon. Her ex-husband was in a near-fatal motorcycle accident and that was when they were introduced to Hoss. Having always had a fascination with plastic surgery and looking to have work done herself, Julie interviewed a highly successful plastic surgeon and toured his office.
Julia created a blog about a year ago. Originally meant to be a cathartic experience after a particularly bad break-up, she found that she enjoyed writing about all different types of human relationships, from romantic ones to parent-child relationships to friendships. She writes from her own experiences and those of her friends.
Julia has had her own blog entitled, "Not your grandmother's librarian... Relationships in the 21st century" since last year.
