Krista graduated Cum Laude in 2011 after completing courses in Medieval literature, Shakespeare, Fiction Writing, Literary Theory, Graphics & Layout/Print Media, and English Language.

Drafting storylines, developing characters, and writing story-based, interactive games for teens in a "choose your own adventure" style, Krista worked with a mobile gaming company to bring their rough ideas to life while also creating over 150 fun and engaging descriptions of mobile games for kids. She put girls of all ages right in the middle of their very own love story, bringing friends and crushes to life right on their mobile device. These games, College Love Story: Teen Crush and Sports Star Love Story in Rio, can be found on the Google Play store with thousands of top-notch reviews. She also wrote engaging app store game descriptions for many clients through the Fiverr platform for apps ranging from card and board game hybrids to Apple Watch compatible fitness apps.
Hands-on experience in the healthcare industry allowed Krista to transfer her real-world knowledge to the publishing industry when she was ready to make the leap in 2015.
She puts her medical knowledge to use by proofreading and editing medical textbooks and educational materials for companies such as Elsevier and Western Schools. Both short- and long-term projects, she's been involved in projects for well-known titles, including Elsevier's NCLEX RN practice questions and their associated textbook titles, and has experience in both American and British English; AMA, Chicago, MLA, and house styles; and digital and print formats.
In addition, Krista writes about medical issues and technology on her personal blog, as well as those of others.
Krista has performed copywriting services for upstart companies, including those selling adult products for singles and couples. Despite being outside of her usual expertise, she took on a project to rewrite product descriptions for adult products, from toys to clothing, for a start-up that wanted to draw in customers with descriptions more engaging than the usual competitors. With a little research and the basic details provided by manufacturers, Krista turned what was cookie-cutter descriptions on the company's website into engaging advertisements to bring products to life for the customer. She also wrote blog entries to help customers choose the right toys or products for their needs, ran the company's Twitter account, and performed email outreach to well-known bloggers to promote the company.
Krista wrote product descriptions for a variety of adult products for a startup adult toy company. Products included clothing, toys, and other accessories.
Krista wrote multiple games published under Bluebell Lush. The mobile games are teen-oriented, clean and age-appropriate, and highly rated.
Krista has blogged off and on for years about topics of interest to her. She also wrote paid blog posts for an adult product website for a short time; however, most of her blogging experience is within her own blogs.
