Throughout her academic career, she garnered experience in conducting research, proofreading, writing academic papers, creative writing, grant proposals, and script writing. She graduated with a 3.80 GPA and with the honor of Summa Cum Laude. Additionally, she was also a member Sigma Tau Delta, the honors society for English majors.
Although her experience was not paid, she participated in an internship program for the website GameSkinny where she wrote, edited, and published articles for an entire semester. The articles were all centered around video games and she was assigned to write 5 articles a week for a total of 3 months.
As referenced above, her experience with article writing was heavily utilized while participating in GameSkinny's internship program in fall 2015. The purpose of the internship was to submit 5 articles per week for 3 months which included having to write, edit, and publish each article.
