Although Linda can write on just about any topic under the sun, she prefers writing about lifestyle, travel, food and drink, pets and animals, healthcare, home improvement, business and online marketing.
Along with being passionate about writing, Linda is a serious animal lover, an avid home cook and a music fan who is addicted to traveling.
While attending Pitt Community College, Linda took courses in English, creative writing, sociology, psychology, astronomy, religion and more, allowing her to earn her Associate in Arts in General Education.
Even though her friends and family all think they're crazy, Linda and her husband head off for a cross-country road trip at least once a year. There is nothing that she loves more than leaving their North Carolina home with a cooler full of water bottles and an itinerary filled with random stops in random cities. Her favorite destination is Las Vegas, where she likes to spend a week or more, but she loves exploring the national parks, restaurants and more along the way.
What started as a part-time gig for a teen who needed gas money soon became a lifelong passion as Linda learned more and more about the restaurant business.
As her freelancing career began to flourish, she left the food and beverage industry and began to write about it instead. Since then, she has written countless articles and blog posts for restaurant and recipe websites and blogs. She is also an avid home cook and has been an unpaid brand ambassador for Allrecipes.com since 2012. As a brand ambassador, she tests new products, develops recipes and helps promote brand sponsors via major social media channels.
Linda still dreams of owning a restaurant one day, but in the meantime, cooking and writing about food keeps her satisfied.
Linda grew up in a household that was filled with pets, including the Yorkshire Terriers that her mother bred and showed in American Kennel Club events. When her mother later opened up a dog grooming shop, she assisted with bathing and other tasks. Now, she shares her home with two crazy mutts and three frisky cats.
Professionally, Linda has written hundreds of articles and blog posts for websites and blogs for veterinarians, groomers and kennel owners.
Although Linda enjoys writing product descriptions, long articles and other content, her specialty is writing blog posts.
