Before taking on writing as a full-time career, Tara worked for a top-ranked financial advisor as an investment and accounts assistant. In her time in the financial industry, she gained expertise on wealth management, investing, insurance, and retirement. She also was able to work with high net worth families to manage their finances and estate planning needs.
Other professional experience includes time as the lead copywriter for a digital marketing agency. In this role, Tara not only wrote approximately 12,000 words a week, but managed social media for over 10 brands and edited the work of other employees. Additionally, she worked as a digital marketing specialist for one of the largest agricultural cooperatives in the western US. This role comprised of website and social media management, as well as collateral design and writing, radio advertisement script writing, and all aspects of print ad copy.
