Gail earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies degree at the University of South Florida.
Gail is an experienced non-profit executive administrator with a strong background in C-level support for agencies that provide social services. As a member of senior management teams, Gail was involved in writing and collating grants, responding to requests for proposals, fund development, strategic planning, continuous quality improvement and event planning. Gail served as the liaison with the Board of Directors, formulating agendas, attending meetings and recording and distributing meeting minutes.
She served as the agency representative at local disaster planning trainings and developed a Continuation of Operations plan for an agency serving the county's child care community. Gail is a Certified Volunteer Manager who created and implemented a comprehensive volunteer experience plan for an agency with 200+ volunteers, and was involved in creating policies and compiling employee handbooks,
Gail is an office manager for a licensed residential building contractor. She is responsible for all of the day to day operations of a small business, including customer relations, budgeting, bookkeeping, payroll and scheduling appointments and work assignments. Gail’s specialty is writing business correspondence, proposals and contracts. As the direct contact for client’s Gail is adept at establishing positive relationships with clients and solving problems that occur due to scheduling conflicts or product issues.
Gail is a kitchen and bath designer with 15+ years of experience. She designs beautiful and functional kitchens and baths incorporating her clients’ visions, needs and budgets. Gail's strengths are communicating with her clients, and her ability to work independently with great attention to detail. She assists clients with assessing and prioritizing their needs and educating them on available products. She creates floor plans and elevations, prepares proposals, executes contracts, and provides installation supervision and customer support throughout the process.
Gail developed and edited an informative newsletter for a large social service agency. The newsletter was distributed to stake holders including child care providers, parents, staff and other interested parties through a web based system.
As a kitchen designer, Gail is committed to ensuring that her clients' lives are disrupted as little as possible during what can be a stressful process. She developed a set of guidelines that offer her clients helpful suggestions and set realistic expectations about their projects.
Gail has over 15 years of experience researching and writing grants and RFPs (Request for Proposals)for non-profit agencies. She responds to funders criteria concisely and to the point and enjoys researching and documenting information about needs,goals and methods and strategies to support the grant request.
