As a writer for the Florida State University student paper the FSView, Anne had the opportunity to educate the college community about student clubs, public events, and new health trends. When she was not writing articles for the paper, she wrote poetry and short stories. One of her greatest pleasures is watching as a character comes to life. A well researched article is imperative, due to this she thoroughly researched using as many relevant sources as possible.

After graduating from college, Anne worked in the banking industry. Her career began on the customer service side as a teller. She moved to the back office to become more informed about the home loan process. She worked with borrowers evaluating credit reports, reviewing titles and calculating debt to income ratios. She was promoted to a Quality Analyst position where she reviewed the process of Home Equity Lines of Credit in the Credit Line Review and Equity Analysis departments. She grew and developed, but lost her passion for banking after the arrival of her daughter. Family is important to her and removing families from their homes was an area that she preferred to be excluded from. Choosing to make a positive difference, she went into health care and learned about the Elderly and Pediatrics. Her knowledge of both industries have given her the opportunity to be more versed and understanding. Her roles in the health care offices she worked for included recruitment, staffing, administrative work and payroll, among other tasks. In an industry with a larger than average turnover rate, Anne was able to elevate the retention rate 35% in her first year. She also assisted in marketing the companies at job fairs and conventions.
