While working as a graduate assistant teaching Freshman English, Jeri Massi completed the hours necessary to be certified to teach English on a college level in South Carolina. She specialized in the literature of the early English Renaissance and devoted her study to the change in rhetoric from the Middle Ages that eventually led to the modern sermon form. Her writing style is precise, and she has learned to translate academic information to be enjoyable and applicable to a mainstream audience.
Jeri M has written validation/verification materials for Baxter and Diosynth, including test plans, use cases, test cases, test summary reports, and traceability matrices. In addition, she has produced Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Eli Lilly and Glaxo Wellcome and served as a contract auditor of SOPs at Talecris, assessing procedures for gaps and then updating them. The heaviest weight of her experience is in writing software manuals for in-house software created by pharmaceutical and medical device companies for their own users and their own products. She has developed manuals for Glaxo Wellcome, Glaxo Smith Kline, Health Decisions (CRO), Diosynth, and Bioptigen.
With an Associate Degree in EET to complement her credentials, Jeri M. enjoys the challenge of writing for cutting edge technologies. She has written business requirements, software requirements, testing materials on the validation side of development, and she was the project manager of X-Celeprint's acceptance documentation for CE Marking. She is fluent in writing CE marking materials for machinery, electronic, and electrical devices, and combinations of the three. She can create risk assessments, manuals, technical files, electronic component files, and traceability matrices. She also excels in step-by-step procedures for the operation or repair of machinery and electronic devices.
For 13 years, Jeri M worked in ministry with victims of sexual abuse. She has produced numerous artifacts to assist people who struggle with their faith and has wide experience with un-churched believers. She was the production assistant for the film documentary, "The Blue Room," (not yet released), and has produced devotionals, articles, podcasts, and books to assist victims of abuse in their Christian faith.
Jeri M has published novels primarily for YA readers, but she has also written a chapter of a church history tradebook, and she has published a manual on CE Marking. She has also written several self-help books for survivors of abuse.
Jeri M has managed several blogs since 2001, including topics such as Christianity, current events, history, boxing, martial arts, and ethics. She has also developed two podcasts: a daily devotional and a family-friendly, humorous podcast. On a more serious note, she produced three audio podcasts that investigated allegations of abuse at two different churches and at one religious boarding school. Her project on abuses at a boarding school in Indiana led to her being brought onboard the film documentary, "The Blue Room," (not yet released) as a production assistant.
