Lauren is a professional blogger and entertainment writer with over three years of experience freelancing for outlets such as Hedonist/Shedonist, Thrive Global, GIGSoup Music, Buzz Tonight, and Thought Catalog. She is an avid reader and research writer with a Master's degree from Syracuse University, awarded after presentation of a heavy research-based thesis on Italian Renaissance Art. Founder of the personal lifestyle/travel blog "Girl in Gotham City" and Co-Founder of the NYC-based entertainment outlet Music & Mojitos, Lauren has extensive experience writing reviews of food, restaurants, concerts, bars, albums, and singles, as well as conducting interviews and photographing some of the music industry's biggest names (Mary Wilson, Jon Fratelli, ROZES, Alesso).
