Jennifer transferred to UMD-College Park after completing her general education requirements at Montgomery College, a two year community college in Montgomery County, Maryland. Jennifer's course work at the University focused heavily on research and statistics; she even completed a graduate-level statistics course designed for second-semester grad students. She spent most of her time outside of class working as an undergraduate assistant in the Metacognition lab, where she took on a self-directed course of study that resulted in an original research project that was evaluated by the lab's post-doctoral fellow. She graduated with a 3.67 GPA (on a 4.00 scale).
Jennifer researches and writes content for four weekly Macaroni Kid publications for moms and dads in the greater Pittsburgh area. Her work reaches over 10,000 subscribers every week.
