While many were general news stories, some of her work was series based, earning her two Syracuse Press Club Awards for investigative reporting. As a professional speaker, Joleene also writes scripts for her speeches before presenting to colleges, organizations, and corporations.
Joleene self-published her first book, "Memoirs of Normalcy: Journey from Sedentary to Extraordinary" in February of 2012.
