As the only child of a teacher, Kelsey grew to love the written word at an early age. As soon as she had learned to read, she carried a book with her wherever she went. Her love of language quickly compelled her to begin trying her hand at creating her own tales. School essays eventually took the place of short stories, and soon Kelsey found that it had been years since she had attempted to write creatively. Unwilling to let another year go by without indulging her creative passion, she began giving life to a few characters that popped into her head one day. Her characters practically writing their own stories, Kelsey realized how much she enjoyed flexing her creative muscles. Writing had always been her strongest skill in school, but over the years as she perfected her style of technical essays and research papers she felt that she no longer possessed the imagination necessary to create imaginary and extraordinary worlds. Strengthened by the positive feedback she received from friends and family upon their reading her creation, she realized that she wanted to write for a living. Kelsey is sure that her technical skill combined with her rejuvenated imagination will allow her to write anything for anyone, while also allowing her to love her job.
