While studying at UGA, Stephanie conducted research in a genetics lab as well as a bioinformatics lab. She graduated magna cum laude with a 3.72 G.P.A. from the Honors program.
Stephanie begins graduate study at UGA through the Integrated Life Sciences program this fall. She is proudly an inaugural member of the University's first Diversity and Inclusion Graduate Fellows program.
Stephanie has written detailed methods during her time as a lab technician that are explicit enough for an undergraduate student to follow. She also has experience writing short abstracts for publication and presenting her research in poster format at professional conferences, all while maintaining a well organized lab notebook.
Stephanie attended the 9th Annual Glycoscience Symposium and presented her research on the 'Activity of POMGNT2 and the Biosynthesis of Functional Glycans on alpha-Dystroglycan' in poster format.
