Meghan was extremely active both in and out of the classroom throughout college. She maintained her standing on the Dean's List, officially became a published author, worked as a teaching assistant for English professors, and received an invitation to join the Golden Key International Honour Society. Meghan also learned how much she enjoys a good mojito during her college experiences.
Whether she is convincing a judge or winning over a consumer, Meghan sees the world as a marketing oyster. She began her career in marketing in the legal department of a financial firm where she worked with the advisers to cultivate leads, fill seminars and events, and use inbound marketing techniques to create loyal customers. After college, Meghan became the Creative Director for a homeopathy clinic and rose to become the head of the marketing department for a startup software firm, where she worked frequently with white papers, press releases, and product descriptions, and she still occasionally offers consultations for the firm. Meghan continues to take on small marketing projects as a freelancer, with a focus on blogs, website content, and copywriting as a part of her services.
As a Millennial, Meghan began regularly maintaining a blog in high school on sites like LiveJournal, and has continued throughout her career as the concept grew to become an effective tool in everyday business. In a professional capacity, Meghan appreciates how to consistently update company blogs with valuable and entertaining information, as well as incorporating SEO, meta tags, formatting, and interaction with readers. Meghan has written and maintained blogs for marketing and design companies, retail stores, and travel agencies.
