Amy holds a Bachelors Degree with honors in French and German. She took electives in language, literature, translation, history and politics, and completed successful internships in the French tourism industry and as an English Language Teacher in Germany.
Amy holds a Masters in International Development with a concentration in Conflict, Security and Development. She completed a research project on the role of faith-based organizations in Post-Conflict Reconciliation with field study in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Amy has lived in the United Kingdom, United States, France, Germany, and India, and has traveled extensively. She loves to write about other cultures and places of interest. Amy worked in marketing communications for a luxury travel company with offices across the globe and successfully wrote articles, blog posts, e-newsletters, brochures and web page copy.
Holding a Masters Degree in International Development, Amy has a passion to communicate development issues so that they become well known, talked about, and solved. Amy has worked as a professional writer and editor for a non profit media organization, as well as an international children's ministry.
Amy has contributed on hundreds of web pages in diverse fields including luxury travel and non-profit. While on staff, Amy was responsible for building the Abercrombie & Kent Philanthropy web pages; compiling and writing content from firsthand accounts of travelers and co-workers.
Amy's skills at researching and finding just the right nuggets of information has made her ideal at composing articles for a range of print and online publications, including features on diverse geographical areas for a luxury travel magazine. She loves being able to get into the details in the space an article allows.
A blog post is the epitome of being able to communicate one-on-one with your audience, giving the freedom to use the space to communicate what you wish. Amy has successfully crafted and edited many blog posts, including advertisements for special events, travel stories from co-workers and herself, devotionals, company news, and much more.
