Andrea A. is a professional women's empowerment coach. She is the published author of her book, "Lovin' the Skin You're In" and a proud contributing author for the world’s favorite and most recognized storyteller publishing brand book series. She has been a blogger and maintained her blog, "The Juicy Woman Blog since 2005.
She is the former Body and Soul editor of Curvy Magazine, and has written for The Poughkeepsie Journal and Hill's Pets. Whether sharing stories, or giving technical direction, Andrea's mission is to always empower and inform.

For nearly 19 years, she ran a successful real estate business and skillfully executed all the day-to-day tasks related to managing three residential/commercial buildings in Manhattan housing 110 tenant families. After retiring from real estate, she decided to pursue her passion of coaching.
Professionally trained as a Certified Empowerment Coach and Emotional Freedom Technique Practitioner, Andrea works with professional women who struggle with compulsive eating and hating their bodies and she teaches them how to transform their feelings of self-hatred, shame, guilt and fear into self-compassion, pride, and kick-butt confidence. She gives women tools to step into their power, make peace with food and friends with their bodies through her monetized coaching programs which include, Self-Image Makeover, Dutchess and Rockland Women’s Binge Busters, Sexy at Every Size, Binge Bustin’ Bonanza and The Curvy and Confident Coaching Club.
Currently she works one-on-one and leads group coaching seminars (sponsored by Walmart’s Going Places Network) empowering women who are re-entering the work force as the resident Success Coach at Dress for Success of Dutchess County, located in Poughkeepsie, New York.
She leads group and private coaching for her paying clients and engages new prospects by offering her Sexy At Every Size program, a free weekly group coaching support teleclass for women struggling with body image and food issues.
Andrea is a rare combination of professional training and raw life experience which gives her the edge in helping women who struggle with body image and/or abuse issues.
She is the proud author of the books; Bust out of Body Shame and Lovin’ the Skin You’re In: The Juicy Woman’s Guide to Making Peace with Food and Friends with Your Body.
As a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming, she sprinkles her unique blend of storytelling, spice, playfulness, authenticity and expertise and mixes it all up in her own special way to empower women and girls to love the skin they’re in.
Andrea lives in upstate New York and is happily married to her husband, Angel for 25 years. They have two kids, Paul, 23 and Cara,19, a current student and aspiring chef-in-training at the Culinary Institute of America. Andrea is a die-hard Elton John fan, a former Brownie Girl Scout Leader and adores cooking and eating.
She enjoys a close, loving relationship with her step daughter, Janelle, who is a Master Sargeant in the United States Air Force. Andrea loves to hang out, watch movies, and bake cookies with her 13 year old step grandson, Aiden.
When she’s not reading, writing, cooking or cuddling with her 13 year old cattie, Owie, Andrea continues to fuel her passion for learning, serving others, and dedicates her life to empowering women to love their bodies.
And, yes, on most days Andrea really does love the skin she’s in.
