Pam T. loves to write about life. Whether it be about herself, her children or grandchildren, or day trips, long trips or re-locations. She specializes in finding ways of opening up the imagination of the reader. She has written several articles, blogs and one book that have actually been purchased! She is currently working on a three-book contract for a fictional novel. Very exciting things coming up in her future.
Pam's interests are pretty straight-forward. Faith, family, friends, along with drinking coffee in a quaint cafe with my laptop people-watching for a great story; traipsing through dusty old bookstores for that one special book; swinging in a hammock close (preferably close enough to the ocean where I can hear the waves), or she's happy to have her favorite musicians pulsing through her earbuds...either way she's happy. She loves playing her keyboard in the middle of the night with her headphones on, and singing along with her favorite Christian bands. Hanging out with her adult children in the kitchen while preparing food for "family night dinner" is a highlight that she cherishes. At night, when she crawls into bed, grabs her journal and favorite pen and begins to write her thoughts down...that is the best part of her day.
The beautiful high school years for Pam were amazing. She loved school. She made long time friends, amazing memories and only wishes that she could remember every detail. Well, most of them anyway.
Pam's time spent at the U of A was exciting and challenging. She was ready to dig in and become a Registered Nurse (just like her grandmother). The first semester was great. Then one day at church, this new guy walked in, and the rest is history. Pam decided to choose love and marriage over her education. She knew that one day she would return and get that diploma. She did; however, you'll just have to keep looking to get the rest of the story.
Finally, Pam was able to return to her dream of completing her Bachelors degree. She no longer had the desire for Nursing, so she chose a field that would help her climb the ladder at her current job. Business.
Pam finally achieved her goal and graduated from GCU in 2013 with her Bachelors degree. It took her awhile to get their, and the journey was not easy. Through many stops and turns and bumps in the road, she finally attained one of those items on her bucket list. It was not easy. Her husband of 29 years passed away in 2008. Life became very grey for a few years. She will always be so grateful for the birth of her first grandson in Oct of 2007. Pam knows that God sent baby Yuri into her life to help with her healing process. She also started writing like a mad-woman!
Pam has completed 3 movie/tv show reviews. The one listed below is from the TV show "Dig". As far as expertise goes, Pam has only been freelance writing and doing reviews of books/tv/movies for the past 6 months. She is not an "expert", yet she loves the challenge of trying something new. Writing has always been her passion.
Pam has completed 1 review of a coffee shop in her city. She thoroughly enjoyed this and looks forward to many more. Restaurants, cafe's and local places are things that bring out the best in Pam.
Pam has done several move/tv reviews over the past 6 month. Each one she does, she gets better and better at. Sometimes doing a review on something that doesn't quite fit into the taste and passions of her life are challenging. It is a good thing to stretch your boundaries.
Pam has ghostwritten a short story for a publisher in London. She has not been published yet, but hopes that dream will soon become a reality.
