Jeff has built several successful careers, in both the public and private sectors, on the strength of his written and verbal communication skills. His naturally empathetic approach to communicating with people helps ensure that he fully understands the objectives, both macro and micro, for any given project.
Jeff has covered the waterfront in terms of project scope and scale. At one end, he created a logo and a tagline that made its way into every guest room of a major global hotel chain. At the other, he assembled the curriculum and wrote the lesson plans for a two-year credit-bearing community college program that he also taught. In between, Jeff has written chapters for college text books, newsletters for corporations, speeches for senior executives, articles for both print and online magazines, and stories for his children and grand children.
Having worked in many countries, including long-term projects in Sweden, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and China, Jeff has had numerous opportunities to operate in a truly global environment where understanding and embracing other languages, cultures, and customs are critical components of a successful venture.
Jeff earned his bachelor's degree in English Literature from Notre Dame De Namur University, his master's degree in Instructional Technology from San Jose State University, and he completed his doctoral coursework in Public Administration at the University of La Verne in La Verne, California.
Jeff and his family reside in rural San Luis Obispo County on California's Central Coast.
