As a communications professional with over twenty years of extensive creative, production, and project management experience, David has honed his strengths in writing, video and film production, webcast development, project planning and execution, and fiscal management. He has produced and implemented large-scale projects by managing complex conceptual and technical resources while juggling the myriad of personalities, talents and demands of large production crews

His project responsibilities have included concept development, writing and script-to-screen production of high quality TV commercials, corporate videos, sales and training programs, industrial short subjects, programming, etc. Project budgets were from $10K - $125K. Some of his past clients: MCI, Boeing, McNeil Consumer Products, Robert Morris Associates, DuPont, Maryland National Bank, Government Services Savings Bank, Converse Shoes, IBM, Arco Chemical Company, NovaCare, Aramark, Nobel Learning Communities, US Healthcare, ArcellarMittal, Savient Pharmaceuticals, Janssen Biotech, and the American College of Physicians.

He has been a member of the International Association of Business Communicators, and has been a panel Judge for ITVA Video Festivals.

His awards include an International Association of Business Communicators Silver Quill, several Bronze Telly's, a Communicator's Award of Excellence and an international CLIO for a Pepsi commercial.

He believes the most important foundations of any communication are ideas shaped by words--the right words--which create the unusual image or the unexpected circumstance that is provocative, memorable and avoids formulas. He also feels pretty words draped around nice ideas aren't enough. They should work hard within a communications strategy designed to train, sell, or orient. Anybody who pays for them should expect a return on their investment.

Music

1 Projects Completed

Local bands have, from time to time, requested David review new releases or albums for use on their websites or in promo material. Most of them can barely afford the gas to get to their next gig, much less pay him for the service. Having been a musician long enough, he knows, understands and sympathizes with their struggle.
