Kaley holds a BA from Whitworth University, with a major in History and minors in Public History and French. In addition, Kaley holds an MA from Villanova University in Theology, with a concentration in Historical Studies.

Kaley is an engaging educator and skilled researcher in history and religious studies with "hands-on" education related skills, 2 years of teaching experience, advanced research and analytical skills, and proficiency in public speaking and presentations.

Well-organized, detail-oriented, and diligent in completing projects in a timely fashion, Kaley is dedicated to the continuous learning of all areas of historical research and education, with a deep appreciation for the importance of history, art, and culture.

As a graduate student, Kaley wrote numerous lengthy research papers, as well as shorter essays and book reviews. One of her research projects, "Wise Sex: Affirmation of Human Sexuality and Female Desire in the Song of Songs" was published in Concept, Villanova's interdisciplinary journal of graduate studies.

Kaley's areas of academic interest include: American History, Public History, Leadership in American History, Hebrew Scriptures, Religion and Violence, Sex and Gender in the history of Christianity, and Spirituality and Education.

Kaley also has many years of work experience in public and academic libraries. She is an avid reader and enjoys literature of all types.

Spending time abroad in France in 2007 while a student at Whitworth, Kaley returned to France in 2009 to work with Youth With A Mission both in France and Madagascar. She has a strong interest in traveling and learning about and experiencing foreign cultures.
