Brandon loves editing and proofreading in order to ensure that each project he takes on achieves its highest potential. In addition, he has a background in both academic and creative writing, so he is able to speak to a variety of audiences with ease.
In his free time, Brandon is a working poet in Los Angeles and a recipient of the 2014 PEN Center USA Emerging Voices Fellowship for exceptional skill in the art of writing poetry. It is his first love.
Brandon's undergraduate degree is from a liberal arts university in Cleveland, TN, where he first began writing academically. Also, Brandon had his first poems published while in college.
Brandon pursued graduate studies in theology, which provided him ample experience in academic writing and editing for publication.
As a part of his 2014 PEN Center USA Emerging Voices Fellowship award, Brandon enrolled in several writing courses at UCLA.
Brandon created both digital and print content for a lead nonprofit agency in Southern California. Projects include a capital campaign that successfully raised nearly $300,000; monthly newsletters and email communications; and social media/PR campaigns.
Brandon has written articles and blog posts on current and upcoming trends in the fashion industry and general pop style. Additionally, he serves as lead proofreader and copy editor for a boutique brand marketing agency in Los Angeles that has worked on an upcoming line of athletic shoes.
Brandon's articles have been published on various web blogs, and his background and education in theological and religious studies provides the necessary qualifications to approach various topics surrounding spirituality. Additionally, Brandon has ghostwritten numerous projects for a nationally recognized public speaker.
