Since she was a child, Gilda had been interested in knowing foreign languages and cultures. Her biggest dream was becoming a translator and living in a multicultural environment that would enable her to get in touch with people from all over the world. After receiving her bachelor's degree in Modern Languages (philology and literature) with full marks and honors at the Universit degli Studi di Napoli - Orientale (Italy), she obtained a master's degree in Audiovisual Translation at the Universitat Auntnoma de Barcelona (Spain).
