Julio is a financial analyst with more than six years of bilingual experience in the financial industry. Julio received his early education in Guatemala in a bilingual school, after which he obtained a BA in Economics with a minor in Finance from Francisco Marroquín University. In 2014, Julio was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute.
Julio begun his professional career as a credit analyst at the Guatemalan branch of a "big four" U.S. Bank in Guatemala. He then moved to the financial planning department of one of the country's largest agribusiness firms. Currently, Julio is employed by the representative office in Guatemala of one of Canada´s largest banks as a credit analyst.
Julio lives in Guatemala with his wife.
Julio es un analista financiero con más de seis años de experiencia bilingüe en la industria financiera. Julio obtuvo su educación primaria de un colegio completamente bilingüe en Guatemala. Acto seguido, Julio obtuvo una licenciatura en economía con especialización en finanzas de la Universidad Francisco Marroquín. En el 2014, Julio obtuvo la designación de Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) – Analista Financiero Certificado del Instituto CFA.
Julio comenzó su carrera profesional como analista de créditos en la sucursal guatemalteca de uno de los cuatro principales bancos de los Estados Unidos de América. Él luego se trasladó al departamento de planificación financiera de uno de las principales compañías agrícolas del país. Actualmente, Julio es gerente de análisis de créditos en la oficina de representación Guatemalteca de uno de los bancos más grandes de Guatemala.
Julio vive en Guatemala con su esposa.
