In 1997 Mario started as a freelance interpreter for business people planning to retire in Costa Rica. In recent years worked as editor and writer for El Mae Geek, a website focused on technology and geeky stuff where, on a daily basis, he translated information from American media to be adapted to the website´s publications.

Mario is a technology enthusiast. He has translated hundreds of of posts on websites, blogs, product descriptions relating to all kind of gadgets (smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, etc.) as well as microchips, processors, motherboards,GPU´s and others.

Mario has started a number of projects on the internet that had led him to learn and understand marketing. He is currently working on a startup that is going to provide education for aspiring entrepreneurs. Most of the translations on marketing related issues are being done by him.

Mario has translated more than a 100 product descriptions. He worked at El Mae Geek, a website oriented mostly on technology. Part of the business model of El Mae Geek included affiliate marketing with American companies, he will translate the product description and post it on the website together with guidelines on how to buy for non-English speakers.

Mario has translated over 100 blog posts. During his time at El Mae Geek translating posts from American to be adapted to our a website, was a daily task. This posts were mostly oriented to topics like technology and geeky interests.
