After finishing her degree in Languages back in 2006, Marlene has worked for some years as teacher of Portuguese. This helped her consolidate her linguistic knowledge and improve her writing techniques. After living in Belgium and in Barcelona for some time, she went back to Portugal where she decided to take a Master's in Translation and language services. She has been working as a freelance translator for the past 5 years and has a lot of experience in technical and scientific translation. She works with several translation companies in Portugal and abroad, including some of the biggest companies in the world. Her favourite areas are marketing and pharmaceutical (clinical trials).
