After receiving her Masters degree in Translation from the University of Surrey in the United-Kingdom, Emilie, a French native speaker, worked for 4 years as a personal assistant/secretary to the CEO of PwC Luxembourg. She then decided to find work in her field of study and left for Mumbai, India, where she worked as a translator (English->French) before being promoted Translator Team Leader/Quality Reviewer for 4 years for a leading Indian TV channel. After this exciting experience, she came back to Europe and found a position as Senior Translator at ITTranslation in Bilbao, Spain. She enjoyed her time there, perfectioning her skills in business/corporate communication, technical and medical translation and training new joiners, until she decided to set herself free and work as a freelance translator. She is now settled in France and working full-time as an independent translator.
