Olesya studied ‘Theory and Practice of Translation’ in Moscow Institute of Linguistics (October 2011 - June 2012) and graduated with distinction from Nuclear National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (February 2014). She has been working as a freelance translator since August 2012 providing translation services for a number of companies such as Joint Institute for High Temperatures of the Russian Academy of Sciences, RNC ‘Kurchatov institute’, and translation agencies Tran-Express (St. Petersburg), Speak-Time (Moscow), Littera (Moscow), Neotech (Moscow), Perevedem.ru (ABBYY LS), and intellectual property agency ‘Patentica’ (St. Petersburg). Olesya finds technical translation interesting and exciting, and it is important for her to improve her skills.

Olesya has been translating product descriptions from the very beginning of her career as a translator. She has translated descriptions for many various products: from household appliances to devices used in nuclear and petroleum industries.
Data Sheet
Olesya has great experience in translation of various data sheets. She has prepared Russian versions of data sheets for different kinds of equipment, e.g. metering devices, mounting equipment, lists of spare parts, etc.
Other
Olesya has translated a number of technical documents related to FEM-analysis reports, including strain and deformation analysis as well as numerical investigations of thermal-hydraulic characteristics (see example). She also has considerable experience in translation of patents.
