After receiving her Master's degree in International Business in 2014, Jocelyn has been working for a Freight Forwarding company in Texas.
Among other responsibilities, she has been translating work orders, procurement requirements, transportation documents from Spanish to English and vice versa.
With 13 years’ experience in e-banking products/services research and development, 4 years’ experience in international transportation and logistics. 3 years’ experience in professional and creative translation/localization/proofreading from English to Spanish for business, technology, and medical fields. She defines herself as a detail-oriented person with a profound awareness regarding diversity and multicultural differences.

In 2016, she obtained her English-to-Spanish Translation Professional Certificate from University of Houston increasing her educational background even more. In 2012, she successfully completed Bilingual Teacher Certification Pre-Service Training Program.
She passed Texas Education Agency tests (190 SPANISH and 192 BILINGUAL GENERALIST EC-6) required to become a Bilingual Teacher to assist students from Pre K to 6th grade in Texas.
