Cristina is a native Spanish speaker from Colombia with complete fluency in English. After receiving her degree in Business Administration in Marketing, Cristina began to work in Houston Texas for a consulting Oil & Gas company. Among other tasks her mayor duty was to collaborated in the bidding process for projects in Latin America, this included the translation of documents from Spanish to English for the understanding of managers and in the final process the translation of documents from English to Spanish to be submitted to the potential client. Examples of documents translated are, technical summaries, resumes, company experience, legal documents tables/graphs etc. Cristina has now decided to focus her career in helping others achieve their goal in conveying the right message to their Spanish speaking target market, which goes beyond translating and more into understanding the target and the message. After that she moved to France to learn the language and in 2017 moved to Scotland begin an MSc in translation studies.

Besides focusing on past experience she would like to expand her focus to advertising/blogs/articles etc., which would be greatly complemented by her background in marketing.
