Micaela has been translating documents, books, movies and television series from English into Spanish for 4 years. Her love for books drove her to take Linguistic courses and she worked in her college as an assistant for her Professors. She's lived in Florida for six months.

Having been raised in a family full of doctors, Micaela has always been familiar with medicine, pharmaceutical vocabulary and medical terms. It is now her main field of translations. She mostly works for USA's SSA and some health insurance companies.

Micaela has extensive knowledge in the medical field, translating hospital records and social security documents for several health insurance companies. She's familiar with medical terminology and hospital protocols.

Micaela has also been very active working for subtitling companies and clients in need of Localization. She's got a good handle of subtitling software and a keen eye for detail, to ensure good subtitles that are easy to read and capture the essence of the original script.

Micaela has translated a series of manuals, brochures and security protocols for different companies. The contents varied from highly specific to general knowledge. She's familiar with technical vocabulary and she can easily switch to an academic or informal speech, according to whatever's needed.

Due to her love of books, Micaela is always searching for opportunities to create Spanish versions of genres she enjoys, such a thrillers, fantasy and sciense fiction projects.

Micaela has worked in a small group of videogame translators, to provide Spanish translations of games such as Telltale's Game of Thrones.
