Kiara received her Bachelor of Artis in 2016 from Cornell University. She was a government major, with a dual minor in law and society and inequality studies.
Kiara currently attends the University of Wisconsin Law School. She is the Vice President of Academic Affairs for the Indigenous Law Student Association and is a member of the Wisconsin Law Review.
Kiara has extensive writing experience. She has 7 years of experience as a freelance writer, drafting short blogs/articles for clients. She's authored articles targeting consumers in industries including healthcare/lifestyle, government, and personal finance.
Kiara reviews and substantiates legal sources for forthcoming legal articles. She is in the process of drafting her own academic article (semester-long project).
Kiara also has experience reviewing and editing contracts. She cannot give legal advice, but she can make grammatical edits and formatting suggestions.
Kiara has prepared PowerPoint presentations on various topics. Specifically, Kiara has drafted presentations related to financial topics, legal issues, academia, and more. Kiara prepares presentations that reflect the client's preferred content type and structure (e.g., tone).
Kiara has experience preparing and editing resumes and related materials (cover letters, biographies, writing samples) for scholarships/job applications.
